The Alpine Square Team works with clients transitioning to independence and self-reliance with employment, or education leading to employment as the lynch pin to self-determination. Employment is not only our source of income, but also the connection that binds us to our communities and provides a structure to balance our daily tasks of living and the emotional fulfillment necessary for a strong sense of self-worth.
Following a thorough Discovery process to learn the hopes, dreams, talents, and passions of our clients with their Team of those people in their life closest to them, Alpine Square pros create an action plan to reach employment-related goals, housing, and transportation plans, and community interactions to round out a long-term fulfilling and self-sustaining life.

What is Benefits Planning?
- A funded service that helps people understand how employment and other life decisions will impact their benefits.
- Benefits Planners develop a personalized plan to help you reach your employment goals and build self-sufficiency!
Who Qualifies?
Adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities receiving services through:
- Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR)
- State Medicaid Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) waiver
Why?
All people should have the opportunity to make informed choices about the work they want and the benefits they need. You don’t have to give up one to have the other.

Alpine Square’s multifaceted advocacy work is directed toward stakeholders individually, communally, and institutionally to share the value of all people focused on a strengths-based worldview.
Benefits Consulting
The Alpine Square Team of certified Work Incentive Practitioners are highly skilled at gathering the data to understand where you are in life and knowledgeable in making recommendations to avail yourself of programming to support you in living the life you see for yourself.
